Bring Your Own Bob
As always, there’s not much new. The ball is quietly rolling down the hillside.
I did get a reply back about my computer. After a month of waiting. There’s still some negotiation to do. I hope they won’t keep me waiting another month. I’d really rather like to have the computer back soon.
Got a couple of goat videos at least.
youtube.com/watch?v=xiBNrH2Tsp4. The goats and the horses mixing it up. I always enjoy when they get to interact, it usually creates some nice, funny chaos. And it’s fun to see Magnethe be the little one for a change. She’s usually the biggest in the fold.
youtube.com/watch?v=iQ59oeUZmVA. We had some beautiful, summery weather all of a sudden. I wish we could have more of that. The hazel nuts have fallen and the goats always love those. Funny that Mio could crunch the fallen ones with shells and all but earlier in the year she wasn’t able to eat the storebought ones without shells. Crunchy crunchy.
Meanwhile, Bob keeps scaring me by escaping the goat fold and not being around when I get to the playground. It always freaks me out when I can’t find him. I get scared that I have lost another one. I have pinned my hopes and dreams on him. I need to see him grow up and be happy. Hopefully he’ll be too big to get through the fence soon! Although on the other hand it’s sweet to see him walking around outside and have fun. But he should just check in with me when I get there!
The new Danish parliament was revealed today. And once again there was no goat ministry. I don’t get it. They should make me minister of goat affairs. I think it’s an important social subject in today’s society. Maybe next time.
All hail emperor Plume.

Mio is so sweet lying down next to you. Frankie will do that sometimes with me, but not too often. It’s always special when a goat takes the time to lie down near you.
It’s true! Your goats have bread, but no butter. Heard on the news that Denmark has a tax on butter and other things with fat in them. Do I need to send you “tax-free” 50 gallon drums of butter? hee, hee
We could use some of your rain and green grass. Our grass is so dry and brown. It’s crunchy when I walk out in the yard. The hay crops haven’t been so good either. Our boys will have to get used to eating hay that isn’t up to their usual standards.
But, since it isn’t raining, we are still able to work outside. We’re working on a house this week on the trim, window frames, door frames, etc. Then we have 3 decks to stain in the near future.
Our trees are starting to turn colors with the cooler fall weather. I think our peak color will be during the last several weeks in October. Do you have lots of fall colors yet?

Have you ever looked at Stu’s blog and clicked on “Goats on Stuff”? There are some really cute goat pictures. I found one goat that looks like our goat Billy except this other goat has long ears and not short ones like a pygmy. It could be Billy’s dairy goat brother or sister!
They saw we all have a “twin” somewhere. I think this is almost Billy’s twin except for the long ears. Maybe the long ears are part of Snickers the donkey’s twin! hee, hee

Debster – Yes, it’s always a great feeling. You feel so accepted, don’t you? It’s an honour to be considered good enough company by a goat.
We do have a new tax on butter. And other fat stuff in general. I saw people on the news buying up large quantities of butter. Like it’s the war and you won’t be able to get it anymore. Seems a bit silly just because the price increases by a couple of kroners. Thankfully I can still afford it!
We’re starting to get nice colours here too yes. The hazel nuts have fallen, which the goats enjoy when they can get to them. Spring spring spring. The nights are getting way too cold for my liking now though.
I have looked at Stu’s pictures yes. A long time ago though. I think it was when I first got to know him. Things run together in my memory a lot, I have a hard time remembering what happened when. And why. Wait, WHO AM I?!?
