The Goat Media Outlet
Okay, I have a bunch of pictures. From three trips to the playground. So that’s going to take up all of the spaces today. Enjoy. Life.
Mio jumped over the fence but her leash was still tied down inside the fold. I lifted the baby over the fence and let them stay outside the fold a little, because Mio seemed to prefer the grass on ther side. Maybe it was greener or something.
View from above. With the propeller ears ready for taking flight.
When I post pictures of myself with the baby I always feel like it’s one of those pictures of a giant mountain gorilla holding a kitten.
A view from behind Bob’s head. He’s a big boy now with big horns.
Mio and the baby in the sunshine. With Bob and Kamel in the background. Bob is almost as big as Kamel now.
Tiny little buds starting to grow on her head.
I love when she’s running around, but I also love to just sit with her in my lap and relax.
This is Bob in front of the house.
The baby standing on my back. It’s hard taking pictures in that situation! There is some good video of it coming soon.
And finally daddy Preben. He has been tied down recently so he’s not quite such a commanding presence. But he’s still a fine, young lad.
Good times. I think the baby will get a name soon. A couple of girls came over to hug the little one. And they were talking about writing down name suggestions. I don’t know if they’re doing a lottery and drawing a name out of a hat or if it will be a vote. But anyway, one of the girls said that she had suggested Josephine. And the other girl said that she had suggested Hey. “Because then you don’t have to say hey and her name because Hey would already be her name!”. Flawless logic.
A goat by any other name would still be as sweet to play with.

Josephine seems a little too formal for me. But I could get used to calling her “Josey”. That would be a cute name for a baby girl goazie.
She is just so sweet. I want to hold her and give her scratches. And tiny little horns . . . sigh . . . our baby is growing up, Lasse. They grow so fast and it’s so neat to see that growth through your pictures and videos.
I remember when Bob was just a kid! hee, hee I couldn’t resist saying that. Kamel is such a pretty shade of brown. I wouldn’t mind having hair that color. (My husband wouldn’t mind having hair – of any color). hee, hee
Our goatzie boys were never “lap goats” when they were small. They were too wild until they got to know us. Although Frankie, as an adult, has jumped up on the bench and laid down next to me and put his head in my lap and went to sleep.
I always wondered if I were to spend the night in the shed with them if I wouldn’t wake up surrounded by three goats and a bunch of cats!

We took a 4 wheeler ride before it got dark tonight. They’ve been picking corn so the deer suddenly have no place to hide. We saw 3 deer, a quail, and some bats and whip-poor-will birds that were swooping down on insects. Then I just heard the coyotes howling and yipping in the nearby field. You’d think we lived in the middle of nowhere! Oh, wait . . . I think we do! hee, hee
I still want to hold that sweet little girl goatzie. I’ll bet her hair is so soft.

Debster – They do grow so fast don’t they? It’s almost like they eat everything in sight to grow, but goats wouldn’t do that would they?! The little one was jumping on the rocks today and it was fun to see Bob get a little excited and try to jump around on them too. He’s too big to be bouncing all around like a little baby. He didn’t have quite the same death defying leaps. But I think he just wants to make sure that I still think he’s a cutiepie like the baby is. And of course I do!
Living in the middle of nowhere sounds quite nice, sometimes I wouldn’t mind that! Especially with all those animals around. And you’re quite right, the little baby has the softest fur I ever did feel. I almost want to use her as a pillow, but I doubt I could get her to sit still for more than 5 seoonds!
