It’s Gonna Be A Cold, Cold Christmas Without You

I am once again avoiding the subject. It is building and building. When I let it out it will be one huge explosion.

But not now.

Yesterday was such a beautiful day. The sun shining from a clear sky. Snow on the ground. Not a lot. I prefer big piles of snow everywhere. But any snow is good. And yesterday it looked like someone had spread confectionery sugar over everything. A thin white layer, finely powdered everywhere.

Other things. A nice article about Tina Dickow. With sound and video samples even. And Koko’s kitten. That is pretty amazing. If Koko had a baby, you have to wonder if she would teach it sign language. It’s Planet of the Apes. With kittens.

I made much updating on the videos I did. If you care to waste your time. Visual aids for some of the things I have been talking about lately.

The lambs. Cute little things. No less than 6 videos of them. One cuter than the other. I recommend the one where they’re baahing to the horses. Too cute.

Mads in the snow. Three videos of Mads chewing, running and jumping in the snow.

Magnethe and Mathilde at the fence. Five videos. Including a lot of scratching and tender hugs. If you want to see a grown man hug a goat, then here’s your chance.

The cat. Remember the cat I met at the playground? Here’s the video.

Olsen. Hand-feeding the rooster. I like the first video because Mads is following me around, trying to get the apple that I was using to feed Olsen. Typically Mads.

Also updated the google page.

I watched Narnia. Beautiful. I loved those books when I was a kid. I always loved the “magical gateway to another place” subject. Escapism. It’s been a long time since I read the books though. And since I saw that English TV series too. I didn’t remember that Santa was in it for example.

It’s funny, they can spend millions on effects but it still can’t compete with the imagination of a kid. The tv series somehow seems more magical in the mind’s hindsight. But I enjoyed the movie. Especially the snow. I don’t see why eternal winter would be a curse. That’s nuts. I want eternal snow, I do. Amazing snowscapes.

I have spent around 250 kroners on postage the last couple of days. That makes me happy. I am the veritable christmas spirit.

Tomorrow is the last day at work. Then on Tuesday there is the christmas party and then it’s happy holidays for me. A couple of weeks to recharge the batteries.

Also, I cried myself to sleep thinking about Skye. I miss you most at christmas.

Sometimes I feel so alone I almost can’t bear it.
