Carbonated Water

Guess what I tried today? Mountain Dew! That’s right. A while back I complained that you couldn’t get Mountain Dew in Denmark. But that has now changed. And today I tasted it for the first time ever. You know my drinking problem. I drink way too much. Soda, lemonade, milk, water. Whatever you got, I’ll drink it. As long as it isn’t alcoholic of course.

Did I like it? Yup. Quite good. I have this impression that people like to mock Mountain Dew? I’m not sure if it’s just because of the name or if it’s general tomfoolery or if it’s because they think it sucks. But I don’t think it sucks. I’m not going to be drinking it regularly though. You can only get it in 7-Eleven and Hydro Texaco gas stations. So it’s bloody expensive. I can get like 4 litres of noname cola for the price of a 0.5L MD. Not that I would ever drink cola or other such unhealthy drinks of course. No, not me.

Now they just need to start importing Paprika Pringles, then everything would be set.

I met the boy from yesterday’s Magnethe play video today again. I was coming from the bus when I met him. He asked if I was going to go to the playground, and when I said yes he asked if we could go there together. Precious. I had to stop in Aktiv Super to buy some Coca Co.. some cucumbers, though. But it’s still sweet. I like the fact that kids don’t yell “freak” and run away scared when they see me. I feel less and less like the Frankenstein monster with every day.

Tomorrow: soup.

Paprika Pringles???? Yum those sound good! Are there really such things? Be careful of the Mtn. Dew it is high in caffiene and very addictive – I love Code Red (Mtn Dew product). Does the Mtn Dew get you wired and wided eyed? Do you drik coffee? Or does a Coca Co do for you? How cute that a wee one has latched on to you. There are a few kind people in this world. I love it when I can win the trust of a youngster. They are so full of life and questioning everything. It’s the weekend!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Mountain Dew is good, but the caffeine in it is too much for me. Can’t sleep if I drink it to close to bedtime. I try to stay away from caffeine anyway.

Plumer, you’re the least Frankenstein-looking person I’ve ever seen. No knobs on your neck, your hair is not dark enough, and you’re way too short to be Frank N Stein!

We’re having chicken and noodles today, so there! Enjoy your soup, even if you won’t share it with us!

Clare – I can’t believe you’re not butter. And on msn.

Debbie – Paprika Pringles, that’s right. I got hooked on them when I was visiting Skye in Holland. I can’t believe you can’t get them in Denmark. Darn it. I have tried other paprika flavoured snacks, but none of them come close. I am even contemplating taking a trip to the airport, because I think I might be able to get them in the airport store. Maybe I’ll end up flying to Holland just to get some…
I have never heard of of Code Red. Maybe some day that will be buyable in Denmark too, and I’ll try it. I don’t drink coffee. But I have been known to drink some cola now and again.
    Weekend! ALRITE!

Debster – I try to stay away from caffeine too. Good thing there’s no caffeine in Coca Cola. Phew. Lucky me.
Maybe I can be Ben Franklinstein instead? And invent gravity. Or the phone. Or apples. Yes.
Chicken and noodles sound pretty good. I’d be happy to have chickens and noodles. Normally. I’m happier to have soup :-P
