The Rain In Spain Falls Mainly On The Plume
After a couple of days with much thinking and speculating and exciting and nervousning, today I just switched my brain off. Spent a good deal of time with the goats. Nothing quite as soothing as that.
It rained. Soothing as well. Summer rain. I sat down and enjoyed it. The goats were less thrilled of course. As Kurt said the other day, “three drops and they’re whining”. Hehe. Yes. I sat down in the open and let it rain down on me. The hatch was closed so the goats couldn’t take shelter inside. Instead they stood under the trees. And then every once in a while they’d run out to me. Typically one of them would come to me first, Vanilje most of the time, and then the two others would see it and they’d come too. And then they’d stay until the rain got too much for them again.
They’re they are under cover of the trees, although you can’t really tell it’s raining. It is, though. I swear.
Some kids walked by the fence. They were bouncing a soccer ball on the ground. That got Mads to run out in the rain! He hates balls. I think he’s almost more afraid of a bouncing ball than he is of dogs.
Finally, a little video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=wkFsFEMPAWI. From today. First the goats under the trees. And then Mads baahing. I love that sound. It’s sweet music to my ears. Even if he is complaining about the rain. I should make a CD full of goat baahs. If they can sell CDs with rain forest sounds or ocean wave sounds then surely there must be a market for goat sounds?
I’ll have to edit out the gassy parts though.
Teehee.

I could meditate to the sounds of goats chewing hay and softly baaaaing. When is your CD coming out?
