Cribs

Yes, I figure I have kept you in the dark for long enough. It’s time to show off the appartment. Not in pictures, yet. But a couple of videos.

Video the first: http://youtube.com/watch?v=O8eLyapMTh8. This is from the first day. In fact it is a video of the first time I open the door and step inside. A brand new world. It’s small, the floors are worn, there are splotches on the walls, it’s all mine.

Second of the video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=pBGC1FlHwNg. A couple of days later. We have started moving stuff in. So now there are boxes on the floor. And a shopping kart even, we used that to help move the bigger stuff. Also a look through the peeping hole.

So there you go. A little look, at least.

It was a grey morn, today. Still, it has been so warm. So I decided not to bring a jacket when I went to the playground to feed the animals. Of course it started raining. But not too much. Just a drizzle. Nice and cooling. Nice to see all the animals again. And they all seemed happy to see me as well. I almost fell asleep on the couch inside, with Nina lying next to me on the big hackysack pillows. She got very comfy and looked like she could use a nap too.

Later on I went shopping in City Vest. There are no less than 3 places where you can buy slush ice. Amazing. I used to have to go all the way downtown to get them. A special and rare treat. Now I can just pop around the corner. Cold goodness. I ran into Cafer again. He probably lives somewhere around here. Maybe we should get together some time. Maybe I should hold candlelight suppers. You never know. I would probably need an oven first though. I don’t think fried eggs will cut it for a fancy dinner. Today I made bacon. Put it on a sandwich with cheese. I also bought tomatoes and cucumber and iceberg salad and made myself a veritable treat of saladness. It may not be very fancy either, but my tastes are simple.

Now I am sleepy and the comfy bed awaits. Night all.

The Plume Abode! It’s very nice and looks bigger than I imagined. I am concerned about one very important thing . . . where’s the bathroom???? Hee, hee!

You get your drapes hung, your table/chairs set up, lamps turned on, a small rug by your bed, a plump nice kat on your lap, and you’ll have quite a cozy little place, Plumey.

You have a nice view out your windows. Don’t think I could stand not having some grass or view of the sky to check on the weather. Sounds like you’re doing swell in your new digs.

    Yay… good stuff.

Debster – Haha! I assure you there is a bathroom! It’s on the left-hand side, as you enter. It’s very small, though. I don’t blame you for missing it!
I like my view yes, nice trees and green grass. And children playing in the daytime. It’s not bad. I’m looking forward to seeing it with snow.
    I’m doing a-okay.

Stu – That it is, that it is.

Hey Plume! I also think it will be one cozy apartment, looks sweet already and once it’s filled with all things Plume it’s going to be grrreat :) I have a similar view through my window, looks good. Am still working on the little something I’m going to send you in a week or so. Sorry for the delay. I think you’ll be able to find some place for it :)

    Big bear hugs! :)
