Blonde Ambitions
Funny thing happened today. Had dinner with the parents. Was quite nice. While waiting for it to be served I went to my old room. There was a weight. I weighed myself. Even with a full suit of clothes and shoes to boot, I still weigh almost 10 kg less than I remember. I’m not going to say what the meter said, because it’s still much too much. I’m not slim by far. But I guess I must have been losing weight. Maybe living on my own has helped. Or maybe it’s just malnutrition. Who knows.
The goats make me feel like a magnet.
Look, all four of them up in the corner as if magnetically drawn to me. Sweet.
Not the clearest picture, but you can see the buck with the curly upper lip. If you know a bit about bucks then maybe you know why he’s doing that. And if not then count yourself lucky.
The lambs, still cutely bouncing around. Kurt came and dropped off plants and leaves for them. Leaving them happy, and the goats baahing complaints. “Feed the lambs? WHAT ABOUT FEEDING THE GOATS?!?”. Translation courtesy of Plume’s Goat Translations inc.
Got a letter today from the “house support” thing. Where somebody is going to come visit me. I’m not too crazy about it. Angst provoking. But I guess it’s for the better and all. Socialness and wellbeing and stuff. I wish I could have goat visitors. That would be good for me wellbeing. Anyway, on Monday I will have a visitor. Unless of course I close the windows and lock the door and hide under my blanket until he goes away.. Hmm..
Now I am tired and must lay myself to rest. Tomorrow is another day.

What’s that Mr. Buck doing with the lip curl? hee, hee. Our boys will do that sometimes and there aren’t any girl goats around.
We gave the boys a berry-flavored mineral/salt block this morning. Didn’t take them too long to figure out what it was for. They were fighting over who got to lick the mineral block next. What was really funny was their usually pink tongues were “purple” after licking that berry block. “Call the vet, my little goat’s tongue is purple.” hee, hee

Don’t you get too slim, dear Plume, leave some for my giant strong bear hugs! :)

I’m at my mum’s right now. Just had a cuddle with Luna – her mummy all the while trying to rescue her:) *meooow* *meoow* She is just so adorable – I cannot wait for you to meet her. You’re going to lose your heart utterly and completely. We took a couple of pictures, and hopefully, you’ll get them in the not too distant future. Re. your question – well, Adam, my brother and I are going to Aarhus to shop for a kitchen either the first or the second weekend in November (which is whne she’ll be ready) so we will bring Luna for you. Don’t worry – I shall stay away – I’ll send my brother and he doesn’t know you or anything about you, so he’ll just come to the door, knock in secret code and you’ll know Luna is on your doorstep. I’ll know more precisely the date by the time I come back from holiday, but it’ll definitely be either first or second weekend of November. It’s cos the ride we’d initially arranged isn’t going over in all of November or December, and I don’t want you to wait until January and so to save on petrol and seeing as we’re going anyways, we will bring her when we go. Hope that’ll do. If you want to arrange an alternative – like my brother knocking the door at your parents in secret code instead, just let me know:)
Have you seen the Fraggles yet? This mornings episode was about when the Fraggles decided not to eat the Doozer buildings. Classic episode. It’s on every Thursday on DR1 at 07:30. It’s very early, I appreciate, for people who haven’t got children, but it’s obviously worth it.
Hugs.

By the way – Royal Canin have a kitten club you can join. You get a free sample of kitten food and general information about kittens. I don’t know if you can join online – try. But I shall put the leaflet I have in the post for you anyways.

Debster – Purple-tongued goats! That sounds brilliant. I’m sure it must have confused all the other animals during the usual “goats stick out their tongues and make rude noises to signal that they are the kings of the animal world” routine!
Milla – Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of Plume to go around for huggies!
Desiree – Hearing about Luna always makes me happy. I can only imagine how happy I’ll get when I actually get to see her for real. November, it seems so far away. But I’m glad I still have time to prepare. I must kitten-proof the appartment. Having your brother drop her off at my place will be just fine. I appreciate all you do, all of you.
Haven’t been able to get up early enough for DR mornings yet. But I have managed to secure myself some Fraggle fun through other channels. It’s as amazing as I recall.
