Mantle Plume
Twas a beautiful day today. The sun was shining and it was not too cold. It was my turn to feed the animals and a couple of surprising/funny things happened. But I’ll write about that tomorrow. For now, here is a video of me opening up for the goats:

You’ll have to pardon my baby language when talking to them. For some reason my voice goes up a pitch or two. They are my babies after all.

We all sound like that when we talk to goats!
Our guest appearance at the party with Billy went really well. Billy was a little nervous but we were really proud of him and everyone was very surprised to see a goat at the party.
We were in the lobby downstairs, so people came in and then left to go upstairs. Billy had never seen so many people before, I don’t think.
I knew he was ready to go when he started looking at us like: “What did I ever do to deserve this?”
I had spent quiet time with him earlier this afternoon with lots of petting and scratches and I hoped when I did it this evening he would remember the quiet time and calm down. And that seemed to work.
He was curious about everything and acted very well. Still, I don’t think we’ll make a habit of doing this sort of thing. I don’t want to embarrass him or let other people scare him. After all, he’s just a little pygmy goat.
We can only image what he’s telling the other two goats who didn’t get to go to the party!

Debster – Phew, I’m glad I’m not the only one! And I’m glad Billy was a success. I bet he was bragging all night to the other goats, when he came back. “Oh I was the star of the party, they all came to see me. MEEEEEE!”. I bet you’ll have the other two begging for you to bring them to parties now!

John-Boy won’t be begging to go to any parties. He’s shy and a little fearful of new things. Frankie, on the other hand, would think the party was for him, dance on the tables, and want to sing with the band. He’s a real party animal.
