Under Your Laundretta
Well, guess who got sick? I’ll give you a hint: it was me.
The night between Sunday and Monday was spent running back and forth between my bed and the toilet. Not much fun. Most of Monday spent sleeping. Some of today as well. I think I’m doing bettwer now. Although my stomach still rumbles and grumbles a bit. I’m not sure how stable it is. But we’ll see. Apart from the stomach problems I haven’t actually felt bad. I will live.
Bad timing, though. I had booked the laundry room Monday. But did not feel well enough to go do laundry. And you might remember that I had booked the room last Monday as well but didn’t go because the daylights saving time made me groggy. So now the dirty clothes are really stacking up. I have booked the room tomorrow. I hope I will feel okay enough to get the laundry done then. Otherwise I’ll have to go buy some clean underwear, I fear!
Must also go to the playground because I am missing the little goatzie girls. I’m sure they’re wondering where I am. They better not find someone better to love. I know elephants don’t forget, but goats are so much smaller than elephants. I hope they don’t forget people after just three days. Must go tomorrow. Maybe bring a picture of myself to hang on their wall. Just to be sure.
Now back to bed, again.

Oh, no! It wasn’t me who sent those nasty germs to you. I was feeling better by the time I got around to writing to you when I was feeling ill.
I drank Gatorade and ate pretzels after I was sick. I think just about any “sports drink” helps get your electrolytes back in balance after an upset stomach. And the salt encouraged me to keep drinking liquids so I didn’t dehydrate.
Hope you’re feeling better soon and can do that laundry and go see the goatzie girls’. They have probably missed you terribly, just like our boys missed me. They won’t forget you, I promise.
It has been raining here all day, so it’s been an “inside the barn” day for our boys. Too much togetherness for them, I think. When we do have a nice day, they are hopping and leaping around like crazy goats.

Man, I hope it’s not bronchitis. That thing will eat you up alive! I’ve rather have teeth pulled than go through that again.
Drink lots of liquids to help clean out your system. And dress and warm as you can from head to toe.
Debster’s right about the Gatorade. I don’t know if you have that in Denmark, but it does help the tummy when a person is sick.
Once you start to get weak, that’s when the bad germs start to ravage the body. Gatorade helps keep everything balanced on the inside.
And don’t worry about the animals, goats. They shan’t forget you!

Debster – The only thing you send me is limitless joy. And the occasional cap. I don’t think we have GAtorade in Denmark, at least not in the mainstream supermarkets. I got Powerade instead. I like Powerade, so even if it isn’t benificial for my health it’s still good. And tomorrow I’m going to hop and leap up to the goatzie girls and feel loved, I’m sure.
LuisLemmings – I’m pretty sure it’s not bronchitis. But I’m still not going to the dentist any time soon..
I think I’m better already, pretty much. Fingers crossed.
