It’s A Mads, Mads World
A day in the sun, with the Mads.
Time well spent. He made lots of content, grunty noises. Yawned a couple of times. As I sat beside him with my arm around him a lady remarked “look he’s sitting there just like a dog”. I’m sure Mads thought she was refering to me. Goats are clearly superior to dogs after all.
I hope the antibiotics are helping.
The other goats were around too, of course.
Chokolade. I think she’s going to be a feisty one.
She has started playfighting with her sister. Doing the goat attack-jump. Although not crashing horns. That would be hard with horns so tiny.
Can you guess who that is?
I’ll give you a hint: It’s Magnethe.
Goats make kids smile, it is a proven fact. And Plumes too. I am keeping positive. I’m sure everything will be okay.
Tired Plume. Must get up early to do laundry tomorrow. Go to bed now. Okay.

Lucky Mads. He looks so happy and content sitting near you. And to think Mads has his own “dog” (I mean boy).
We visited the miniature donkeys again today (no camera). I was able to pet the mama donkey this time. Diesel (the male) came right up to both of us and wanted scratches. The baby wasn’t shy about getting her fair share of scratches either. She is so fuzzy and full of energy.
Later this afternoon we took the boys out for a walk. John Boy didn’t want to go back to the barn so my husband had to do a little goat chasing to get him in. The other two in the barn wanted to go back outside. Silly goatzies.
I bought some petunias and geraniums for my Mom for Mother’s Day on Sunday. Too many pretty flowers to pick from to plant outside from the greenhouse. I bought some pink, lavender, and white impatiens, some marigolds, and some hens & chicks (yes, these are plants) to plant.
When I went out to our front flower garden to see what other flowers were up, I looked in the lavender plants. A small hole and lots of rabbit fur! Some bunny is making a cozy nest to have her babies.
I had a nest out there last year. Liked to scare me to death the first time I flushed the wild mama rabbit out last year. I started being more cautious. We had several rabbit nest by the goat pen and actually in the pen. Goatzies don’t seem to even “see” the rabbit hopping around in the pen.
EEK! Laundry day! Thought I could smell something bad!

Lovely photos as usual. Your “hint” made me laugh out loud. Silly Plume! :)
