Waiting To Inhale

Summer is over for now, it seems. Not that it’s cold. But it’s just not hoT with capital T anymore. Pleasantly warm. And pleasantly cool at night. Good for Plumes.

Other than that there is not much going on. I am anxiously awaiting my new computer. Like a little boy waiting for christmas.

Also waiting for news about Mads. He was very lively yesterday. Running around more than usual, it seems to me. But on the other hand he was still limping. Today is his last day of antibiotics. I’m not sure if the treatment has helped, but he’s doing so well in general that I am quite sure he’s going to have lots more happy days in his life.

And therefore so will I.

Isn’t he a beautiful boy? Yes he is.

And a couple of beautiful girls. In running blur.

magnethe

And mama Magnethe.

magnethe

She really will climb walls to get food. Sometimes she seems like that elastic guy from the X-men. Stretching to amazing distances.

And that’s all for today. See you soon, gringoleros.

Ok, you can call off the rescue party. I have returned home in one piece (well less one wonky gallbladder).

It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. But I may be a very “cranky old goat lady” on Thursday.

Sounds like you guys were getting pretty excited about coming to “search and rescue” me, especially LuisLemmings! Thanks, guys.

Good to see the goatzie pictures, Plumey!

Terribly happy that things are all well, Debster! I always err on the side of caution because one never knows these days. “One piece” is better than many pieces. So just rest, don’t overtax yourself and you’ll be back to work in no time. :)

  3. Plume Says:

Debster – I am glad it all went according to plan. Now let’s never speak of that horrible gallbladder again! I hope you’re all back to normal. Luis and I will just have to find something else to search and rescue. I heard there were some excellent chocolate bars in the local supermarket. I think I will search and rescue them..

  4. Debster Says:

Well, I won’t be back to “normal” for awhile anyway. I won’t be climbing up and down ladders or painting for several weeks.

Since I’m laid up, the phone has been ringing off the hook with people wanting rooms painted, houses painted, cabins painted, and maybe even a couple of churches.

    When it rains, it pours!

  5. Plume Says:

Debster – Maybe you can get the goats to do some painting. I’m sure they’d work for peanuts. Literally.
