Collapsing Cities

I have invented a new game. It is called “collapse on the floor”. Basically what you do is, when it gets too hot you collapse down on the floor and lay there until you feel you can start moving again. It is not a terribly complicated game I guess. Appropriate for the season, though.

I like to lie down and stretch my back and look at the ceiling and think about things. Thinking does not require much use of energy. Perfect when it is this hot. For example, earlier I was thinking about how I was going to write about this in my blog. And now it has come full circle.

Totally worth it.

I haven’t spent the entire day lying on the floor, though. I went to the playground. Early in the day when it was only warm, and not superhot.

per goats

Per came with some leaves for the goatzes.

thor

And Thor quickly chased everyone away so he could have them all to himself. In proud goat tradition.

magnethe

Plenty of stuff for everyone though. Some branches here for Magnethe.

chokolade

And a bucket of cold water for Chokolade. That bucket was quite popular. Everyone needs cold drinks in this weather.

Now it’s almost time for the night-time version of “collapse on the floor” which is of course “collapse on the bed”. In this category I am a master.

Goatzies do like their leaves and branches. Ours like apple tree leaves and some of the bushes we have in the yard.

I think Frankie could devour a whole apple tree if he had a ladder to climb to get to the top branches. (Now a ladder wouldn’t be too hard to find around our place!)

LuisLemmings: are you shaking and rattling at your place? We heard about the earthquake tremors.

Debster – I downloaded a video of goats climbing trees… at least it said so. I could’nt play it (did’nt have the right codec). It was from some “hilarious videos” site. Must’ve been some special goats. I don’t think they used ladders either.
I hope Luis is alrite. Them earthquales aren’t nice, I gather.
