The Casimir Funk Effect
Aah, soup. I never get tired of mama’s chicken soup. And now the belly and fridge are full. Just as it should be.
Another one whose belly is full is Vanilje. I couldn’t help but notice how big she was looking yesterday when I fed the animals at the playground. If Kurt’s estimate was correct then there should be goat babies within the next couple of weeks.
And the lambs are doing fine. So sweet and cute. Getting bigger and braver. The little boy has started chewing on my finger when I put it out to him. I always find that amusing. Having a little animal baby trying to devour my limbs. What’s not to like about that?!
Nomnomnom. I am high cuisine.
Yesterday I got a wonderful card from Laura. She’s quite the artist, as I’m sure you know. You can see the card here. Lovely. But also she made a little drawing of angelic Mads with halo and wings. Very beautiful and sweet. I love people who love goats as much as Laura does.
Amen.
Exercise biked: 59km.

I think I see bottom teeth on that little lambie. They’ll be eating grass soon with teeth like that.
That’s a pretty card from Laura. She is very talented.
No snow now, it’s almost all melted. Now it’s just mushy and when it gets above freezing is really wet and muddy. We are to have sunshine (what’s that?) for the next several days, so there may be dry land in Iowa again!

Hahahahaha!!! I agree! Such cute little lambs.
I’m so glad you got the card and that you like it. Sorry it got there late, I sent it ages ago… good ol’ Postal Service!

I didn’t know we were supposed to dress our goats up for the cold weather!

Debster – Definitely teeth on them. Remember that bit in the video where one lamb is investigating my cap? I had a funny view from under the cap there, I could see just the bottom half of the lamb’s mouth with a row of little teeth trying to bite on the shade of the cap. They learn quick to nibble on everything.
Hope you’ll get some sunshine. And the goats too, they need it I’m sure!
Laura – Twas a great carad, definitely worth the wait. Thanks again!
