Say A Little Prayer For Mr Fancy Pants

Today was the return to the acupuncture clinic. For a test and a final double-treatment.
The test said nothing new, my sight is the same. The far sight at least. We didn’t test the close sight. Which is what has gotten worse I guess then, to make reading harder. But no improvements for sure. So for the second treatment of the day, the acupuncturist tried some new places to stick the needles in. He tried their old system, since their new one hasn’t been working on me. Maybe the old one would be more succesful? I’m probably imagining it, but I actually feel like it has helped a little. Just a little. Maybe. It’s hard to tell, because my eyesight always fluctuates, depending on the light, the sun, how tired I am and so on. So it’s probably just my imagination or wishful thinking. But at least it hasn’t gotten worse. After 2-3 days where it felt like a rapid river going downhill (as rivers do) then today at least it feels not worse. And that’s something. The acupuncturist said that we should call after 1-2 weeks and tell him how things were going. If this last thing doesn’t work then there’s nothing left for them to do. So now we’ll see. Maybe we can try to go back for more of the old system acupuncture. Maybe not. We’ll wait and see for now. I have the next week off and then it’s time for hospital examinations and cataracts operation. And then we’ll see what the eyes say.
I am craving pizza. Ain’t it just typical, I finally discover that I can actually eat pizza and that I like it. And then I decide not to eat junk food. How dumb am I?
I guess nuts and berries will have to do for now.
PS. Jonathan Coulton is making me smile

Jonathan Coulton is funny. I watched the “ShopVac” video. ShopVac are loudly annoying, but really do the job.

Debster – I just love his sense of humour. Especially the geek culture / technology stuff. I can relate. Aso the mad scientist stuff. I can relate less, but it’s funny. Some of his songs are quite beautiful in their own little way too. I like Always The Moon, the chorus is really nice.
I didn’t even know what a shopvac was. At first I was picturing some kind of plastic bagging machine from a shop. Like sealing things in a vacuum bag? Haha. You live and you learn.

Well, a shopvac looks a little like R2D2 the robot only no flashing lights. And some of them can vacuum up water as well as dry stuff like paint chips! The wet vac is good when you have water in your basement.
If you do have flashing lights and weird noises, stand back as that is not normal for a shopvac!

Debster- I think I may have actually used one once. When I worked at kutlurgyngen. we had a cleaning day (happened liked twice the whole time I was there!) and we had to draw notes from a hat to see what our job would be. And I had to vacuum. I think it was a shopvac. On the other hand my memory is quite defunct and now I’m not so sure.
