Been thinking about you lately – mainly, I’ve been wondering if they’ll be knocking down your home!
We have a ghetto in Thisted, too. My students, of whom many live there, are amused and a little baffled by the label. “What does it mean?” they ask me after looking in their dictionaries. Obviously, the dictionaries offers little clue to the “comtemporary” meaning of “ghetto” in teh current media and political rhetoric.
But yeah, just wanted to know how you’re doing, really. x
