Enter 2012

Almost a week gone of the new year. Clearly one of my resolutions hasn’t been to blog more often or better. Fraid not.

I have never done resolutions, and this year my only resolution was to not start now. But there are things I hope to do better this year. When it starts getting warm again I want to really hit the exercising hard. That’s my hope anyway. I’m still going with it, I just find it a lot harder and less rewarding when it’s cold. Even with the heat turned up to max it’s still not the same. But we’ll see how that all goes. Spring can’t spring too soon for me. At least we haven’t really had any snow yet. I guess a winter completely without snow would be too much to ask. And part of me also misses the pretty, fuzzy whiteness. But for mobility I really could do with a mild winter.

Other than that the new year has not brought anything new with it. Time passes, slowly. Dad is doing better and better. There are still tests to be done, though. But it seems to be going okay right now. I’m happy about that.

Haven’t seen the goats this year yet. Been much too long. I will probably go see them on Monday. Hopefully they got through the new years alrite. I am missing them something fierce.

Hope you all have gotten into the new year well as well, swell. Here’s to a good year.

I push myself to work out no matter what. The end result is I feel better about myself & my body. Since I dumped meat I’ve been shedding pounds easier too!

I like reading your blog Lasse. It’s like you’re reading to me while I sit in front of the fire. So please send me some hot coco and marshmallows. I just bought an exercise bike. I plan to look great in my thong this spring. I’ll send you some pics.

Glad to hear your Dad is doing better. The doctor’s never did find out anything for sure, did they? I take it Mama (of Mama’s good soup) is doing alright?

We’ve not had much snow either. That’s ok with me (and the goats). I can find plenty of other things to do besides shovel snow paths out to the goatzies.

My resolutions are about the same as always: continue to donate blood – I hope to make it 6 gallons this year; give compliments instead of complaints when I get good service at a store or restaurant, etc.; read more books – I read 140 books in 2011; and spend time with all my animal pals – that includes goatzies!
