Goatalf

Well, how about that. Denmark beat Holland in our first game at the European Championship. That was a minor surprise, which is a major understatement.

I’m not going to bore you with the football though. Instead I’m going to bore you with a goat video:

I think goats would make good traffic cops. Kamel is certainly good at stopping traffic. None shall pass!

That’s all for today.

“Now where did I put that stop sign?” “I guess I’ll just have to stand in the roadway to get them to stop.” Looks like that worked pretty good!

It rained really hard this afternoon – 2 3/4 inches of rain with some thunder, lightning, and wind. The goatzies were not happy with the rain. Everyone else was happy though as it was dry and the crops needed the rain.

Happy Father’s Day to your Dad, my dear danish goat boy. We are going out to eat with my Mom and Dad on Sunday to celebrate.

Oh no! We saw on the sports channel where Denmark lost a game. Are you out of the Championship then?

On Father’s Day we had chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy, dressing, green beans, large salad bar, and homemade bread. Those were the things to choose from at the buffet, I really didn’t eat ALL of that food! My husband had ice cream for dessert and Mom and Dad had coconut cream pie. I was too full for any dessert.

Do you celebrate Father’s Day in Denmark when we do?

  3. Plume Says:

Debster – Yes, I’m afraid Denmark is out. So it goes. We were in a very difficult group though, the group of death. So it’s not unexpected. We did ok.
Sounds like a nice father’s day. You always have the nicest foods. We do have father’s day in Denmark, although it’s not as big a thing I think. At least not in our family. So there were no celebrations here really. But he did get to meet the queen, so that’s pretty good!
