Stoner’s challenge

No one found the secret dancing monkeys?

I’ll give you a little hint.

“Marijuana -16”

Can anyone find it now?

Not much time for blogging tonight. I have been working hard all day to finish my video section. Made thumbs for all the movies and made it to fit with my extremely simple grey design. Also updated it with three new movies from the playground. Animals and kids. It’s good fun. And with all the time I have spent on it you better like it. Or at least pretend.

Does anyone have any opinions on Bright Eyes? Feel free to share. I would like to know what people think of them.

And that’s all for today. A more proper blog entry coming tomorrow.

Listening: Billy Corgan – A100

I love Bright Eyes and saw them in February. He wore a raincoat on stage and sounded oh so sad and mournful and angry while still being beautiful and sweet and puppy-ish. I recommend This is the First Day of My Life, Everything Must Belong Somewhere, The Calendar Hung Itself, At the Bottom of Everything, and A Perfect Sonnet. Most of those are newer and I don’t know about old stuff, but it’s all definitely worth listening too. Give it a couple tries- his voice can be a bit too weeping and sobbing at first, but at this point, I don’t think there’s a single song I don’t really really enjoy.

blargh…..i hate to rain on the parade. but i can’t stand bright eyes. too whiny and crybaby for me. my ex-roommate used to listen to them constantly with her cruddy boyfriend, maybe that’s why i don’t like them. i will say that the song…uh…”a perfect sonnet” i think it’s called? anywho…that’s an alright song. the lyrics, that is. it’s the voice i can’t deal with. but what do i know, eh?
