Today is cancelled.
My goat trip is, anyway. I went and did a little shopping to test myself out. I’m just really tired. I’m sure I could go see the goats, but on the other hand I don’t want to collapse by the side of the road like my dad collapsed yesterday. I guess I’m playing it safe. I’m sure I can go tomorrow. I’m feeling okay other than being very tired. That seems to be the pattern when I get sick. I can’t remember the last time I had fever and all that. I just get really tired.
Or maybe it’s my wacky sleep schedule that’s catching up with me. In any case, I’ll take a relaxing day in the comfy chair with lots of naps. That’s how I roll.

Good news today too! Thank you very, very much to Angeline Slaats for this brilliant hoodie!
Apologies for the poor quality of picture, and the poor quality of potato sack body etc. I was half-sick. Didn’t even notice the… bar code sticker on the shoulder. Also I had the hood tightened in a way that almost made it look like a dark santa hat (patent pending on a story about dark santa elves). Will be hard to not pretend I’m a Sith in this.
I’m not sure it’s going to be very stylish wearing a cap under a hood, but I never cared about style and I think it will be helpful in the cold. I can just keep the hood off when it’s not too cold. It feels very warm and comfy. I’m going to try it as one of my layers under my winter coat. Since 3 layers wasn’t enough last time. When it gets a little warmer I might be able to just use this as my only outerwear, we’ll see.
Anyway ramlbing and delirious. Thank you very much, Angeline! I freaking do!
I’m so tired, I’ll probably need to go to bed soon.

Today will be a good day. We’ll see where it flows.
I’m still tired. Throat a little scratchy. Probably going to take a day or two more off. Not feeling great, but not horrible either. Just sleepy.
I had a wonderful dream last night. Some kind of fairy tale world. Narnia or Middle Earth. It was beautiful. In the dream I was looking out a window at trees and I said “how can this be a dream, it’s so real and so beautiful”. As you all know, it’s one of my favourite things when I’m in a dream and I know it’s a dream. It was a little chilly so I made the sun come out and warm me. I wish I could do that in real life. I also swam with some kind of friendly sea monster and climbed mountains. Remind me again why I ever get out of bed?!
I miss the goats, but it’s so much nicer knowing that they’re out and well taken care of instead of having to wonder whether they get to go out at all when I’m not there.
My dad is doing better too by the way. I think he was severely dehydrated. I should probably get something to drink. Does soup count?

I’m not sure quite how I’m feeling. My head is a little woozy. Maybe that’s just because I slept for like 14 hours, though. Taking today off too. But I need goat time, I’m going out of my mind.

Good goat times today. Ahhh, I needed that! Feeling very tired, and my knee and legs are hurting. But worth it. I was going stir crazy without goat times.
Mia gave me a little worry, though. I could only see Mio and A38 at the fence as I approached. I guess that irrational fear of something having happened will always be a part of me. Traumatized by the past. But she was just standing in the half-shed. Bleating at me when she noticed me coming. I think they were happy to see me again.
They had been exiled from the goat pen, though. All the horses were in there. I’ve never seen that before. I don’t know if it’s because there are new people covering the shifts over christmas and they don’t know the horses go in the big pasture. Or if they just thought the horses should have some of the little grass that was left in the goat pen. It meant the goats had to be out in the mud, and so did I. Oh well. Worth it to be with the goaties. And their mood was helped by treats and cuddles.
Got a good laugh from A38. I was kinda laying my head on Mio, because everyone needs a goat for a pillow, and A38 was walking up to us. She was being brave because Mio was facing the other direction. So A38 snuck to us. And then she started shaking herself. Like they do when they’re wet, shaking off the water. Only she wasn’t wet. And she made the cutest little chipmunky sound. I don’t know how to describe it. I couldn’t help myself from laughing. I had the camera pointed right at her too, so at some point there should be video of that. What a cutieface.
So yeah that was good. Now I’m probably going to have to sleep for 20 hours.

Okay. Off to bed. I’m clearly not yet up to a full day of being human. Christmas is coming up and I need all my energy for when I put on my red suit and deliver presents all over the world. Hey guys, i’m deliriously working on a christmas card for Mia’s page. I wonder if you guys could pick a favourite of these 3 (you may have to click on them to see the full versions).
The square one with the little dotted stars is a finished version I made in the style of the christmas cards I have made the previous two years. The problem with that one is that I didn’t keep a proper template which meant I had to recreate it with some jiggery pokery, which might have introduced graphic flaws that can be seen better by people who aren’t blind, I’m not sure. The upside is it keeps the style of previous years. The downside that it’s halfassed.
The other two are work-in-progress attempts. They need some smoothing out, especially the circle one. I think they’re probably better cards. The downside is that they’re not the same style as previous years. But then I can make this the new official christmas card variant and make a proper template that will make it easier for years to come to have similarly styled christmas cards.

The point is, are there any of these that you like best? The dark square with stars dots, the brighter red square frame without stars or the circle one? Or any other comments?

Oh, I just had an idea. Maybe I should make one card from each goat… that way I could use 3 different styles and everyone got a chance to shine. There’s a thought.
I, however, must go to bed now. Dead tired. Still not all well. And tomorrow is christmas in Denmark so I’ll need my energy for eating all the things. Thank you all for feedback on the cards! I did go with the circle… but maybe I’ll make a couple more…

Back from family Christmas, with the family. No big do, just the good old traditional food. This year we actually had a christmas tree for the first time in many years. It was a little, electric one that I think my parents won some place. Haha. I didn’t get the almond in the ris-a-la-mande, but we all know that thing is rigged anyway. My dad got it and the prize was a pack with two chocolate santas. My brother and I got one each. Doesn’t matter how old the kids get, they still deserve the prize! Of course I got to watch my traditional Disney Sjov, plus some Futurama christmas special. And that’s Christmas done with for the year. I don’t care much about the tradition of the holiday, but it’s nice to get together with the family and spend some time. I don’t do that a lot, so the special occasions are always specials. I would have liked to stop by the goats too, but I’m still not feeling in the best shape so making the trip out there would have been a little much. I am really tired. I may have napped a little in the comfy chair at my parents’…
Hope everyone is enjoying the festivities, whatever you are or are not doing. I thought of you during the do, so you were with me in spirit. Now I probably need a nap. And then I will devour chocolate santa, as a symbol of how his terrible reign is over for another year. No more judgement, no more lists. Just wild abandon, and chocolate.

But I think I almost threw up because I ate too much Christmas food and chocolate and I think I’m extremely tired because I stayed up most of Christmas night. So you know. I’ll be heading to bed before too long now. I can barely keep my head up. I blame the heavy skull inside. Next year I’m having it replaced with a helium balloon.
With the tiredness and christmassness I’m completely out of loop on the Faceboxness, so forgive me for missing your treasured moments. I hope everyone is having the best possible time, as we countdown to the end of 2016. Remember, in horror movies the killer always strikes again just when you think he’s dead.
