Are Magnethe and Mathilde looking pregnant, that is the question?

They certainly look heavy, that’s for sure. But then it’s hard to know whether that’s just the good life at the playground or actual pregnancy. People who don’t know that Mads is a boy often ask “is she going to have a baby soon?”. Mads is a confident goat, I don’t think he minds being mistaken for a girl. But a baby he won’t be having, that’s for sure. I also thought it was for sure that Magnethe and Mathilde would be having kids. But then the other day Kurt and Per were talking and “hoping that there would be kids soon”. I take it that it’s not completely for sure. I do hope it will happen, otherwise I’ll be sorely disappointed. I have set my hopes high for cute little goat kids in the cutest goat family in the world.

I mean how can you fight genes like these:

We’re almost in April so it shouldn’t be too long before we find out either way. I am crossing my fingers.

And don’t forget the lambs.

They are growing but they are still tiny little cuties. The brothers Fine and Flotte are baahing a lot. While Uldrik is keeping cool. He always seems so serene. I have a fun video of them in a minor hailstorm. Fine and Flotte are sort of moving around, trying to get out of the windside. And Uldrik is just standing still. Chewing and staring off in the distance, not being bothered by the weather at all. Reminded me of a fisherman at the shore in a rainstorm, letting the elements do their thing.

He’s such a pretty kitty.

I like picking him up.

I still don’t really know the proper way to pick up a cat, but he suffers my mistakes in a dignified way. And it feels really good to hold him and cuddle him and love him. I wish relations with humans were as easy.

And then he’s off, climbing trees and walking on rooftops. Almost like a superhero.

Thank god for little wonders.
