Keeping Spoons In Full Bloom

I woke up this morning with pains in my leg. Cramps. I must take better care of my calves. Not let them stay out and party all night.

So I was up half an hour too early. Spent the extra time in the shower. For a Monday morning I was actually feeling quite good. It’s just really good to be sleeping properly again. Don’t get me wrong, I am still tired a lot. But not so sleepy at least.

No new foal at the playground yet. And it turns out there might not even be one coming. Alice told me that they weren’t even sure there was one in there (referring to Sille’s tummy). I thought you’d be able to tell or something. Maybe I’m not able to tell because she isn’t pregnant. Hah. But I do hope there will be a foal. I have had baby sheepies and goaties and piggies and kitties and chickies and bunnies. I would like some baby horsies too.

mads

Mads checking the picnic table, to see if I have set up dinner for him, no doubt.

vanilje

Vanilje coming over. I am glad she’s still there. Now if I can just have Magnethe back soon.

vaniljemadssheep

From the back of the playground. I should draw a diagram of the whole place to lessen any confusion there might be. If you look at the fullsize picture then you might spot the lambs on top of the slope. Vanilje a little further down and then Mads looking up. Lots of mud too. The new buildings in the background,on the left. They are almost done. And the place is starting to return to normal again. More space for the animals, that’s good.

A veedeeoh: http://youtube.com/watch?v=kK_ugoSpj8g. The piglets. Lots of oinking. No high-pitched squeeealing, though. I’ll get that another time. I love their muddy snouts, they have lots of ground to dig through.

I finally called the eye doc today. And of course the place was closed. D’oh! But I’ll try again tomorrow. At least I’m getting it done.

Do you remember my mountain climbing? The Mols mountains. I posted a billion pictures from that trip. But I was not the only one taking pictures. I got my hands on some of the pictures taken by the others. And I appear in a couple of shots. I figured you might want to see those. So I will post them. Even though it goes against my religious beliefs. (Rule #14: Thou Shalt Not Inflict Pain Upon People’s Vision By Posting Pictures Of Thine Own Poor Appearance).

me sleeping

Hah. Funny shot. Me on the left. Sleeping. And woman on right, sleeping as well. I forget her name, sorry. Actually I was only half asleep. It was more sort of a defense mechanism. Instead of dealing with a bus full of people I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep. I do think I dozed off once or twice, though. And I certainly didn’t notice anyone taking pictures!

me

My head has an odd shape. Or maybe I just need a better haircut. But anyway. There you go.

Wow, I can’t believe we’re a week into May already. There’s less than two months left at TMU, dontchaknow. Hopefully they’ll be able to finish my case so I don’t need to come back after the summer break. Imagine, in two months I could have my future more or less settled. What an odd thought. Not that it will all be over from one day to the other. It’ll take time to get my case through the system and work things out and apply needles to the proper voodoo dolls. But I’m nearing the endgame, with any luck.

The future is right around the corner.

  1. Debster Says:

My dear danish goat boy: That is a good picture of you and you’re SMILING! You look like you might even be having a good time.

Leg cramps: Dr. Debster says sometimes if you haven’t had enough water (dehydrated) you can get leg cramps. I hate those morning ones. I get them a couple times a year and boy do they hurt!

Did I mention I liked your picture?

What is it with your “non-fertile” goats and now horse? Has Sille ever had a foal before? Any rabbits that are preggers?

Saw some imported blue cheese from Denmark in the store over the weekend. It didn’t have your picture on it, so I didn’t buy any. I like blue cheese salad dressing. Did I tell you I liked your picture? Even the sleepy-time Plume is good – just like a sleepy goat!

Your head isn’t an odd shape – maybe if you carried it under your arm, like the “Legend of Sleepy Hollow” guy it might be odd! (Hee, hee)

  2. Luis Lemmings Says:

Don’t be shilly. You do NOT have an odd shaped head!

  3. Milla Says:

Fantastic pic of Plume :) shweeet :)

  4. Clare Says:

    Sexual beast ;)

  5. Plume Says:

Debster – Yes smiling, imagine that! And I don’t even think anyone had told a joke.
Does it have to be water or can it be soda and lemonade and milk and all sorts of other things? I drink too much, I am probably overhydrated. If I put on a red suit people will mistake me for a fire hydrant. But ouch the cramps, yes. My calf is still feeling a bit sore, sort of like it is prepared to start cramping again at any moment. But it helps to stretch.
Maybe the playground is cursed and animals can’t have babies there. You don’t watch Lost right? Because there’s this island and the people don’t seem to be able to have babies and.. well nevermind. Sille has in fact had babies before. Looking through my old pictures I came upon this: http://plume.dk/pics/displayimage.php?pos=-997. That’s from 2004. I wasn’t quite as regular a visitor back then, I think that was one of the only times I saw the baby horsie up close.
Hmm, blue cheese? I don’t know much about cheese. It’s SUPPOSED to be blue right? otherwise I’d stay clear.
It’d be fun to carry my head around under my shoulder, but I’d probably just put it down somewhere and forget it! Or Mads would steal it and run away, thinking it was an oddly-shaped picnic basket. Oddly shaped for a basket of course, not for a head. I guess.

Luis Lemmings – That’s one of the best compliments I have ever gotten. Hehe.

    Milla – Ain’t I a darling? :)

Clare – Put your pants on mister. No means no! :)
