Tobin’s Spirit Guide
Well, I was planning to write something about my mood. Causes and effects. But then I accidentally ran into Ghostbusters on the telly. And you know me, I can’t say no to Bill Murray. So now it’s late and the mood talk will have to wait.
Possibly to tomorrow. Although I’ll need to spend some time cleaning up the appartment too. I will be having my visitor on Monday. Two in fact. I talked to Trine at TMU about the whole thing. She’s the one who arranged the visitation application. And she asked if I wanted someone from TMU to be there the first time. So I thought that over. On one hand the more people the worse I generally feel. But then this visitor person is a complete stranger and it might help to have someone I already know there. That’s the conclusion I came to anyway. I know Trine from TMU and she is very sweet and friendly and supportive. So I hope that’ll make the first time easier. And then I think the plan is that the visitor guy will come once every two weeks and help keep me socially active.
Scary!
Had a nice time feeding the animals today. Brought some hazels and the goats were duly excited. Of course the goats are crazy about all food in general. But I can tell the hazels are among their top favourites.
Afterwards I sat down with Nina and enjoyed the thoughts of having my own cat soon.
She’s a sweetie. I wonder if the scent thing is going to be a problem. She likes rubbing up against me, making her marks. I wonder if I shouldn’t let her do that when I get my own kitty? Maybe some of my books can answer that.
C’est tout pour aujourdhui. Ah oui. Belle nuit.

“Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!” Bill Murray is great in that show, although the Ghostbusters song gets stuck in my head and I go around humming it for awhile afterwards.
Hay, hay that’s great about having a TMU person there when the visitor guy comes. Print up a few pictures of the goats, of your new almost kitty kat Luna Frodo, and some people at the playground to show him.
That way it will be something you are comfortable talking about (goats and kitties) and you can show him you are getting out and about (to the playground, the library for kitty info, to the laundry room, store, etc.)
Our kitties never minded if other kats had been around us. They will sniff you over for awhile, but once they decide it’s still “you”, they love you just the same. They generally don’t hold that against you (like . . . how could you, you’ve been with another KAT! I will never purr for you again”). Kitty kats just aren’t like that. They are very forgiving, especially if you are the one with the food!

Debster – The song gets stuck in my head too, but I don’t mind! When I was a kid I wished there were ghosts for real, so I could grow up to be a ghostbuster. Those guys were the cooolest. But I guess its’ good that ghosts are somewhat more discreet in real life. Otherwise I’d never get any sleep!
Thank you for the visitation advice. I don’t have a printer though, my parents kept the printer. They paid for it originally, so I guess that’s fair. MAybe I’ll show him some pictures on the computer.
Maybe I’ll rub food all over my face, that oughta be a pleasant scent for my kitten!
