Some of you may have seen on social media some fabricated stories about the cost of McDonalds in Denmark. I just want to correct these stories. The actual cost of a big mac in Denmark is 17,058 kroners.
The minimum wage is 8.
And influencers are outlawed enemies of the state.

Hope you’re all doing alright out there. I know things haven’t gotten magically easier just because it’s 2021. Facebook’s notifications are still all over the place and I have a bunch of computer stuff I need to fix and a lot of soup I need to eat, not to mention the depression that keeps haunting. I TOLD YOU NOT TO MENTION IT. Oh sorry, that was the voices in my head. Never mind. Anyway, sorry if I’m mising stuff. You never know what other people are going through until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. And that’s when you realise, you got the wrong shoes on mate. What’s that all about? I dreamt my father was a cat. It reminded me of Murakami. The writer, not my berryful friend of the arts. I should read some more Murakami. I have couple of things stashed away that I haven’t read yet. You know that thing when you love a writer so much that you can’t get yourself to read all their works because then you’d have none of their works left to look forward to? Until they write a new one, I guess. But who knows when and if that’ll happen. Anyway, I’m glad we had this talk. And to answer your question, yes I do have problem coming up with endings to my facebook posts.

It’s a great day for America, everybody!
Congratulations to Mr President Joseph Montague Bidenforth, the third.
I don’t want to ramble for too long about it. I’m just a bloody foreigner, this is your day, America.
As I’ve said before, I’m not really a super fan of Biden. But I am a fan of normalcy and decency, so I’m on board.
It will be weird to listen to a presidential speech and not have to wonder who will be insulted or what kind of disgraceful lie will be the most disgraceful and make the headlines.
I just feel sad, really. Sad that it was so easy for a sleazy family to completely hijack a political party, and a country. Sad that it was so easy to radicalize and corrupt so many people. The snake didn’t even have to put on sheep’s clothing. He just had to stroll up and say “hey want an apple?” and the good christians decided that they really liked apples and that taking one from the devil would be just fine.
And other metaphors.
I’m so glad I will never have to rant about politics again. Just like 2021 will be magically better than what came before, so will this presidency. Everything will be fine now. Success success we made it!
I’m just still pretty furious. I’ll take some comfort in the fact that he lost the presidency, the house, the senate, twice impeached, worst approval rating sinec they started measuring it (!). It’s so weird that half of America will say that was the greatest presidential term in history.
At least now I know I don’t have to take it seriously when republicans talk about pro life, blue lives mattering, law and order. Beating a cop to death with a fire extinguiser. Violent insurrection against your own country. Plans for a government literal blood bath. Pardoning guard who murdered a 9 year old in Iraq. Wanting to lift travel restrictions as the pandemic rages on. They have had to lift air-qualtiy limits in LA because of all the cremations. How fucking insane is that? And the pardonings, I’ve said it before but it’s nuts that a leader of a country can just pardon people. Seventy something people on his way out. AT the very least a president should have to get up in front of people and argue for every single pardon, why that person deserves to be pardoned. And “they donated a million to my campaign” shouldn’t be an acceptable answer.
Anyway. I guess it turned into a rambling rant after all. Hopefully I’ll have less cause for those in the future. I saw that Trump was thinking of starting his own political party. That would be interesting. I’d like to see how many people would actually follow him there. The Patriot Party? For fox sake. No offense if you’re a patriot. But patriotism is a disease. It is not a good thing to value your countrymen higher than people from other places. America First is sick. I just want to get a hardcopy of The Good Samaritan and beat you over the head with it. It’s just so disturbing and sad how so many of Trump’s values go right against what the bible teaches. People will happily pay lip service to god with their facebook posts, but when it comes down to it they want that shiny apple. They want their low gas prices.
Hashtag not YOUR president. Damn right. You chose… poorly.

I am sure all my Republican animal-loving friends are happy about this. Or is it the same as the religion thing? You like posting on facebook how you cry when the dog dies in the movies, but in the real world you prefer having corporations destroy the environment for profit?
Check back in four years to see if your gas is more expensive, and how many animal species have gone extinct.

Good goat times today. Got out and goated. Good news: it wasn’t too cold today. Bad news: The snow has been replaced by mud. We don’t like mud.
There were some pavement tiles lying around outside the goat pen. I may accidentally try to borrow them to make paths for the goats, if nothing is done. It did look like maybe some stuff had already put down in the mud, but not enough really. We’ll see.
I brought some carrots that I had leftover from the souptimes. Reaffirmed my previous experiences. The goats aren’t super into carrots. It’s one of the foods that many people think that goats looove. Maybe because horses like them a lot? The goats will eat them. Sometimes. If they’ren ot too dirty and if I crack them in bits and if I let them sniff at them for a while. Oh and of course they have to do that thing they do when they start trying to headbutt the food. Milo especially does that a lot. If I offer him some food but it’s not quite right then he’ll start trying to knock it with his horns. As if that’s going to help! And people think goats will eat anything.
I put the stuff they didn’t want to eat into their feedboxes, maybe it’ll get eaten once there’s no longer tastier treats around.
We got some visitors at the fence too and I managed to get the goats to come over and say hi to them. The kids were excited to see the goats up close. And their dad, I assume, thanked me as they left. It’s always nice when I can help visitors get some good goat time.
We all need good goat time now and then.

I had some nice lucid dreams last night. It’s been a while. I love that feeling. Realising you’re in a dream. It’s like being in a David Lynch movie.
There was another part of the dream that got pretty scary though. It felt like I was trapped between dream and reality. I was in my bed in the dark, but I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming or awake. And then people started attacking me. Pulling at me. And I felt like I was halfway between dream and reality and time was slowing down and I couldn’t wake up completely and I wasn’t sure if the people attacking me were part of the dream or if they were reallty there in my apartment.. It was pretty freaky..
But interesting. I loved dreaming.

Aw. Sky took another step on the road of becoming like Yogi. She’s the underdog, has to run away sometimes, has a disgruntled gruff bleat and now.. the flappy tongue! She was up on one of the pallets and I couldn’t quite reach her when I was giving her a treat. And then the tongue started coming out! I am sure if you knew Yogi you remember that flapping tongue. Sky didn’t quite get to Yogi levels with the tongue, but it did flap around a little. She’s just the cutest little lady. She jus needs to grow a proper beard and she’ll be like Yogi 2.0. I love her so.

Here’s something different. A book recommendation. IF you want to try some Danish literature. We read these books in school, and I still think of them sometimes. I want to read them again as an adult. Maybe I should try the English versions, that would actually be interesting. Hmm. But as I have mentioned, my reading has taken a hit the last year’s time, so who knows if I’ll get to this.
But I highly recommend these.

Had a bunch of great dreams last night. I love dreaming. It’s addictive.
Still not feeling great, but it helped to get up and see all of your supportive comments, and also my friend Traci sent a wonderful video. Her daughter likes the goats. That was wonderful to see.
So hey there are good things in the real world too. Gotta keep that in mind. One day at a time.
