On The Twelfth Day Of Christmas
Just a little update on the eyesight. Now, a couple of days after the last treatment, it is still good. In fact it is better than it has been for a long while. Maybe as good as it was right after the lens replacement surgery in the summer. So far I am very happy. It is everything I had hoped for when I went in on Friday.
I keep noticing the little things that are clearer. The first thing was the tiles on my bathroom floor. Small, rectangular ones. With dark lines between them. Now when I look at them I see the square mosaic patterns. Instead of a uniform, grey blur.
And when the Korean couple Sun and Jin speak on Lost I can read the subtitles. I can sit back in my comfy chair and read them. A couple of days ago I literally had to lean in so my head was inches away from the tv screen, to even hope to read some of them.
I am very pleased. And also scared. Because usually when something good happens, something bad soon follows. But for now, it’s good. And I am happy about it.

Hay, hay! I got your email today and I sent you a reply back.
We had some snow and very strong winds on Sunday. We stayed home and didn’t go to work it was so bad. We have a few drifts a couple of feet high but then in some areas, you can still see the grass. Compared to further north, we were very lucky and didn’t get all the snow they did.
The animals stayed inside their enclosure yesterday. We gave them some fresh hay and warm water that they really enjoyed. The kitty cats were snug in the shed with food and water.
I had about 30 goldfinches, juncoes, and a woodpecker all at the bird feeders yesterday. Poor things had a hard time staying on the feeders with all the wind. The juncoes were smart. They stayed on the ground and ate seeds.
It’s good to hear about your eyesight being somewhat improved. Every little bit extra is precious.

Plume, something bad doesnøt always follow something good! It’s not a set rule. I promise! And I know this is good that stays good. I can feel it in my bones! ;)
I, on the other hand, got a serious bollocking yesterday from my boss, so not a happy bunny today. Always super upsetting and unsettling to be told off by ones boss.
But that’s not what I came to say. Just came to say that a big, soft package arrived today. I opened it and I think it might be for my son. From you! And I just wanted to let you know it’s arrived and that he’s gonna effing LOVE it! :))) So, in advance, THANK YOU! And thanks for the Christmas card. xxx

Katrine – Thank you!
Debster – It must be hard being a bird in a blizzard.. My dad told me that my parents forgot to eat some of the apples on our little appletree and then the snow came and they couldn’t really go out and get them and before it was too late.. the birds got them. I think the birds deserved a treat in the cold. I remember some years ago when our back yard was full of old, fallen apples… I quite enjoyed sitting in the windowsill and watching the birds feast on it all.
Hope you’ll enjoy the dvd! Merry jollies!
Desiree – I hope you are right. I do I do I do. So far so good. It really makes a big difference, this little improvement.
I’m glad the present arrived. I hope the other one will get there soon. Otherwise it would be a very unfair christmas.
