Mio Min Mia
Mio’s baby has finally got herself a name. And it’s Mia. Sweet, little Mia.
The kids at the playground wrote down suggestions and three were pulled from the hat. Omar, Lis and Mia. The choice fell on Mia, which I think was smart. As Sigrid said to me “it would have been a little weird if the baby girl had been named Omar”.
Mama Mio and baby Mia. I am having a lot of fun with them. Every time I visit the playground. Too bad the weather is getting colder now. I’m going to miss the warm, sunny days with them. But any days are good, with goats.
So let’s catch up on pictures and videos since last.
Here is Bob and Mio and Mia on the rocks. Mia and Mio were having a lot of fun jumping around there. I think Bob got excited when he saw the baby jumping from rock to rock. He’s somewhere in the middle between tired adult and bouncing, carefree baby. But when Mia gets him riled up then he’ll jump around like he’s still a little boy.
And try to put her in her place.
Mio and me. As I said on Facebook, some day I’ll put the hat and glasses on one of the goats and pose next to it and see if anyone notices.
Kamel with the foldy ears. Sigrid told me that we might be getting babies from her too. At least, that she’s ready to breed. That’ll still be months away then. I’m not sure why she wasn’t ready before. But all in good time.
Mia up on one of the platforms.
And look, her horns have already grown a little more! Amazing.
Me holding the baby. Again. I seem to be doing that a lot. Can you blame me?
And she is always keen on getting to my hat.
And now for something completely different. Videos.
First one is Mia and Bob on the rocks. Jumping around and having fun. And Mia approaching the chickens as well and hurling a plant around for a bit.

And one from the platforms. Again a good bit of Mia and Bob playing around. There’s one bit where Mia is up on a platform and Bob is on the ground. And Mia bucks her head against him as if she wants to duel. I think it was because she had the higher ground, otherwise a little kid probably wouldn’t take on a bigger one like that.
—
And then a fun little compilation of scenes I made, with an intro by US presidential candidate Mitt Romney. He’s very excited about Mia, obviously.
—
And finally from Friday, a rainy day under the canopy. With Mio, Mia and Bob. Plus more chickens.
All done.
See you next time.

That was funny with Mitt. I didn’t know he was endorsing goatzies?
Mia – that is cute. Much better than Omar. Evidently someone didn’t know the baby was a “she” and not a “he” when they suggested names.
You may have to change Bob’s name to “Mob”. Mio, Mia, and Bob just doesn’t have a ring to it. But Mio, Mia, and Mob sure does. Just try and say their names fast three times! That’s a tongue twister for sure.

Debster – Who wouldn’t endorse goats? I would vote for goats. Haha Mob. That would suit him. He’s a little gangster.
